Cassie || Kit Carson Park || Class of 2014

I had a lovely day shooting with Cassie at Kit Carson Park in Escondido earlier this month. Her natural beauty was so captivating, she reminds me of the 90's singer Jewel. Cassie will be graduating from the Fusion Academy in June and will be going on to college to pursue her acting career, Im sure its just a matter of time before we see her on the big screen!

Christie + Mike || Engaged || Personal

I am so excited to finally have time to work on this post! This is a very exciting year in weddings for me. My 2 cousins, who have been raised with me like sisters, are both getting married and I get to be Maid of Honor in both!

Last month I was able to spend the day with Christie and Mike photographing their Carlsbad Engagement session. We visited places they went on their first date and got to incorporate Mike's job into it as well. I loved being able to capture their moments! It was really special looking back on the photos because I could see my little Christie all grown up now.  A certain smile  would bring back the face of that 5 year old little girl who used to run around with olives on her fingers at family parties!  This girl has been with me through thick and thin and back again. We have laughed and cried, been through the good and bad and the ugly of life together. Christie is my cousin, sister, friend all wrapped into one. I am so blessed to be able to share her special day with her and watch her get to marry the man of her dreams (poor Joey Fatone got the boot!)

Ali + Jamie || Chileno Bay Wedding || Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Last year I had the honor to photograph a lovely little ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This was HUGE for me mostly because I was finally able to bring the business back home! When I was 4, my dad moved down to Cabo and started a well known restaurant. A few years ago we celebrated his Mexican citizenship, all the hard work he had put into the bar paid off and his land was finally his. All this being said it was awesome being able to include him on what I do ( I even let him drop me off :P) Ali and Jamie are from Nashville and were able to use a friends Villa in Chileno Bay for the ceremony and reception. It was a beautiful day with great weather! The ceremony was heartfelt and sentimental but the party after was where it was at! It wasn't a traditional reception, but it was some of the best fun I have ever had at a wedding and by the end of the night everyone was in the pool (with clothes on!) Here is to Ali and Jamie!
